Bojagi are traditional Korean wrapping cloths. The patchwork kind, jogakbo, were pieced together from leftover scraps of fabric, often sheer ramie or silk, so they glow when light shines through them.
This is a place to design one. Plan it on the grid at left and see it hanging in a window at right, moving in the breeze.

I’m not Korean, and bojagi isn’t my heritage. I came to it through admiration: for jogakbo pieced from scraps, and for how they turn light into something you can hold. I made this tool to help people design and sew their own, with as much care for the tradition as I could manage.
The seams and methods here follow Youngmin Lee’s Bojagi: The Art of Korean Textiles. If this sparks something, learn from Korean makers and teachers directly. Her book and workshops are a wonderful place to start.
